Kitchen Designer Nancy Jacobson, President of KDP, founded the company on these principles. For over 15 years, Nancy has demonstrated her specialty in kitchen and bath design with clients throughout the North Shore and Chicago.

As the name of our company states, we are partners in your project. In our boutique showroom in Northbrook, Nancy and her dedicated team collaborate with you, our client. We provide the most personalized, one-on-one experience in which all of your ideas, needs, and visions are realized.

We also partner with other industry experts, such as general contractors and interior designers, so that each one of us can contribute our unique, specialized skills and insights to focus on your needs. KDP gladly welcomes contractors that you would like to have on your team. Alternatively, if you like, we can bring in a contractor for your project.

Firstly as part of our company’s mission, we can provide best-in-class, American-made cabinetry. Our cabinet manufacturers provide many styles and storage solutions to meet your needs. In addition to cabinets, we also specialize in quartz countertops and tile. Additionally, we collaborate with you on a wide range of projects beyond kitchens and bathrooms, such as laundry rooms, home offices, closets and libraries.

At KDP, we believe in continual improvement through education and training. For example, Nancy is an active member of many organizations such as; NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association), ASID (American Society of Interior Designers, Industry Partner) and SEN Design Group. Nancy attends training programs and conferences throughout the year for continual learning.

Overall, at KDP, we focus on your lifestyle to create exquisite designs that balance style and function. We also aim to provide timeless, comfortable, and practical designs that can evolve with your family throughout various stages of life. Nancy has recently earned her certification as an “Aging in Place Specialist,” also known as CAPS, to assist you, our clients who would like to remain in their homes for many years to come.
