We are thrilled to share that one of our recent projects was featured as the Houzz Kitchen of the Week. The homeowners hired KDP for a kitchen and breakfast room renovation in a Modern Farmhouse style that we absolutely love. We brought in GOGO Design Group and the team at Macnon Builders to accomplish this stunning and functional new kitchen.

Houzz Kitchen of the Week
“Dramatic Modern Farmhouse”

Dark wood cabinets throughout the “before” kitchen felt dated and cramped. The homeowners originally wanted an all white kitchen for their Modern Farmhouse design. Instead, our team guided them to the mixed cabinetry and ceiling beams, infusing warm rustic elements and blending cohesively with the rest of the home.

The “after” kitchen boasts plenty of white for a brighter, more open feel while mixing in reclaimed wood ceiling beams, a black island and alder base cabinets for a cohesive, truly stunning modern farmhouse design.

Below you can see the original kitchen had the quality of a typical spec home. It was relatively narrow and there was a lot of wasted space along the left wall and had much inefficient and unused space.

The new wall is floor to ceiling efficient storage and appliances in a sleek, gorgeous finish. We utilized every inch of space.

We invite you to read the full article on Houzz and see all the details of this kitchen, including the new breakfast room with full beverage center that serves the backyard.
